WHAT TO BOOK |

Reformer 1 Group class will allow you to understand the equipment and exercise flow. Every new client is required to take Reformer 1 before entering into the next level unless you have had private sessions at our studio. These are not based on fitness level, they are to get each client familair with the equipment while getting a solid workout and stretch. Once your body is familiar with the level 1 then your welcome to advance.

If your focus is to get better at the Reformer work then we believe a 5 pack of privates will help get you build your practice. Our instructors can highlight the reformer work specifically for your session.

Stretch + Strengthen class uses the tower, chair and spine corrector to introduce the Pilates method to your body with a nice balance of using the springs for length and muscle engagement. This is a good entry level class that is mixed in beginner clients and long standing clients.

Pilates Equipment classes will combo the different equipment that is used. Equipment 1 classes can be booked by new clients that are free from movement limitations.

Classical mat is mentally easier than the equipment but physically can be more difficult. It is a great challenge for your body and breath work and we suggest adding mat classes to any equipment routine.

Essential Movement mat is our Pre Pilates group that gives you a workout in the fundamentals of pelvic health and breath work in each exercise.

Private sessions - Pilates was originally intended to be offered as a personal training practice. A way to have personalized attention to develop your body for your needs based on your history and habits. Group classes were added to make it more accessible to all and create a group setting that can grow through the movements together. Each private will be focused on giving your body the tools to get stronger and more mobile with equipment and cues that are specifically geared towards you.

If you are pregnant or newly postpartum we suggest Private sessions to get you set up to move through the method with the approporate supports

If you are working through any limitations in your body it is important to take private sessions so our teachers can give you the appropriate movement routine and then can suggest the classes that would work best for you moving forward if that is your goal.

Our Movement Collective classes are open level - Barre + Meditation + Awareness Training

*Reformer 2 classes can only be booked with instructors approval

BRING || Find an outfit that you can move your body in, bring some water + grip socks if you prefer to not be in bare feet (which are welcomed). Embrace a new movement pattern with an open mind to discover your body in new ways. Check our story tab to see our parking map and entrance in Binghamton. Owego has street parking or park at the bank across the street. Arrive 5 min before class. After class please wipe down equipment and return all springs. Book ahead to reserve your spot!

STAY || This method of movement shows its true colors in multiple sessions and as you learn the equipment and Mat you start to learn how your body responds to the springs + props. We promise to provide cues and corrections to get your body to find new strength and support to change your days ahead. Pilates can be done as many days as you would like throughout the week. A minimum of 2 times a week to feel the work and a mixture of equipment and mat work will give clients a full body routine. Privates are always what we suggest even if you are able to get in a monthly one on one check in or maintain a private weekly routine.
